EVERYTHING DAY - FOR EVERYONE (Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, Colorguard)

Saturday, July 31st from 9am - 2pm at the BHS Band Hall.

Sophomores and Juniors - 9am-11:30am

Freshman and Seniors 11:30am-2:00pm

Students and their parents/ guardians should plan to attend together, if possible, and allow approximately an hour of time to complete the tasks. Families will arrive through the band hall doors and receive a checklist of stations to visit. Station activities will include:

  • checking personal information with the directors

  • purchasing spirit wear

  • ordering letter jackets and unders

  • paying band fees

  • signing up to volunteer

  • trying on uniforms

  • signing paperwork for the year (forms available for download here: https://www.beltonmarching100.com) we will have hard copies available on the 31st.

The boosters can accept cash, check, or card for payment; if you are planning to order a letter jacket, you may want to be sure to have a check or credit card for that vendor as well. After visiting all of the stations, your student will receive their show shirt for this year! (no extra charge) It is our hope that you can get everything your band student needs for the year, find the answers to all of your questions, and discover a place to connect with the band boosters.

If you are unable to attend, or have questions before the event, please email boostercalendar@gmail.com. Finally, in order to make this a successful event, we need 10 volunteers for the morning shift and 10 volunteers for the afternoon shift. If you are interested in helping out, click the sign-up genius link below. Thank you!

LETTER JACKET INFORMATION:

Letter Jacket company representatives will be on hand to take orders and answer any questions from 9am-11am ONLY.

Please see qualifications for letter jackets taken from our ‘21-’22 Band Handbook on our band website (beltonmarching100.com):

  • Sophomores-Seniors – Be enrolled in Band (which means you are in a concert band class and/or a percussion class and you participate in marching band as well). Students pay for their Senior Jackets – the school does not provide the jacket or any patches or letters. Price typically ranges from about $90+

  • Members of the BHS Color Guard will use the same criteria system as the band. However, in the spring season, eligibility and participation must be maintained for the entire season. Members of the Color Guard will be instructed by their director as to the relative qualifications in regards to freshmen earning a jacket.

*FRESHMEN - there is mention of how Freshmen can qualify in our handbook, however, qualifying events would occur throughout this up-coming school year so a Freshman would need to qualify, and then have an opportunity to place an order for a jacket at the end of the Spring semester of 2022. Read the qualifying criteria in our handbook on our website and we hope to provide the opportunity for early ordering in 2022. (we were not able to do this Spring of 2021 due to COVID related issues).

Jackets should be delivered this semester.
