It may be hard to believe, but we are about halfway through our marching season! We have one more movement to learn of our show and we are making great progress on what we have learned so far. Let's keep pushing to the end of the season! Here is your weekend update!

NEW INFORMATION AND UPDATES
SAN ANGELO CENTRAL FB GAME ITINERARY TBD - The San Angelo Central Itinerary will be posted early this week. We will depart BHS at 2:00pm and we will arrive back to BHS sometime around 1:00am the next day. Uniform will still be the summer uniform with our M100 jersey and shorts.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE CHANGE, SEPTEMBER 20 - Tuesday, September 20th is the day of the Region 8 TMEA Jazz All-Region auditions. However, we recently found out that the "Burning of the "B" event will be held on Thursday, September 22nd, where we originally had a rehearsal scheduled. In order to maximize our rehearsal time this week, we have scheduled a rehearsal on Tuesday, September 20th from 5pm-7:30pm and extended the Monday, September 19th rehearsal from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Students auditioning for Jazz All-Region are excused from this rehearsal.
BURNING OF THE "B" - The Burning of the "B" event will be held on Thursday, September 22nd. Attire will be M100 Jersey, M100 shorts and tennis shoes. Schedule details will be posted at a later date.
BELTON M100 YOUTUBE CHANNEL - The Belton M100 has a new YouTube channel showcasing performances from the previous school year and onward. Please check out and subscribe to the channel by clicking HERE.
BOOSTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR BELTON MARKET DAYS - Belton Band Boosters: We need YOU to volunteer at Belton Market Days on Saturday, 9/17!
The Belton Band Boosters will be making and selling popcorn at the Belton Market Days on Saturday, September 17th from 8:30am-5pm and we need your help! This will be one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we expect to sell a lot of popcorn. Note: In order to volunteer making popcorn, you will need to have a City of Belton Food Handler’s Certificate. I’ve linked a 38-minute presentation that we received that will teach you all you need to know about safely handling food. Please do the following:

View the video ahead of the first time you volunteer. You only need to view it once. To view the video, click on the link and download it to your computer. Then open the power point and go to “Slide Show” ribbon and click on “From Beginning” to hear the audio.
Once you have viewed the video and signed up to sell popcorn at Belton Market Days, email Colleen Stearns at colleen.e.stearns@gmail.com and we’ll submit your name to the City of Belton and you will be a card-holding Food Handler.

PROP BUILDING - Thanks to all that have helped with the beginning of our prop building process! We have just a bit more that needs to be done before we are ready to fully unveil our props, but there is a lot to look forward to! There may be an opportunity to assist with finalizing the building of our props, so please stay tuned for more information.
