Dear M100 Family,
I hope everyone made it through the first week of school successfully! We are now leading up to our first football game performance! The rehearsals this week are crucial, and we will also need to navigate through a high chance of rain. In order to best prepare for a successful performance, we MUST go into each rehearsal this week with a focused mentality, especially if our outdoor rehearsals are limited. Let's have a great week! NEW INFORMATION AND UPDATES
INCLEMENT WEATHER AND REHEARSALS - There is a high chance of precipitation throughout this upcoming week. We may need to adjust the schedule on the fly again, so please be on the lookout for emails and Remind notifications regarding any rehearsal changes.
FRIDAY PEP RALLY - On Friday, August 26, there will be a pep rally during 4th period at 2:50pm. Students will be requested out of class to perform. I will let New Tech students know the plan for their attendance as soon as I am able.
HENDRICKSON FB GAME ITINERARY TBD - Please be on the lookout for the itinerary for the upcoming football game this Friday against Hendrickson HS. Once finalized, I will email out the itinerary and post in under the "Itineraries" tab on the front page of the band website.
BRASS RAGS - All brass students need to acquire a black rag to empty condensation from their instrument. This will allow brass players to keep the floor of the band hall and other rehearsal spaces clean, and prevent frequent trips to the trash can during rehearsal. Reminder that these rags will need to be washed periodically. Please acquire this rag by this Thursday, August 25.
