This will be the day for families to purchase the required equipment for next season, as well as verifying student information and completing the necessary paperwork for the M100. ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS SHOULD PLAN TO ATTEND EVERYTHING DAY! Students will need to bring light clothing in order to try out uniforms.

We will also need volunteers to help work on Everything Day! Please sign up to volunteer by clicking HERE!

Physicals are due Tuesday, August 1st in order to participate. This is required for ALL UIL physical activites. (Yes, band is a sport!) If you have not set up an appointment, you may want to do so soon in order to make the deadline.

Sophomores and Seniors: Medical History form Required ONLY

Due to the high temperatures that have been occurring this summer, we will be monitoring the weather closely in order to ensure the safety of all marching band participants. In the meantime, with summer band around the corner, here are some tips to prepare for the upcoming season.

  • Hydrate

  • Begin spending time outside to acclimate to the heat

  • Hydrate!

  • Acquire school appropriate athletic clothing to keep your body cool

  • Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen to protect your body from the sun

In all seriousness, the best way to prepare for our outdoor rehearsals is to keep yourself hydrated. We will have water jugs to purchase for Everything Day, but if you do not already have one, please bring one to use for the first week (1 gallon minimum recommended).

Click HERE to access the google folder with the part assignments and PDFs of the show music. Our show music will need to be memorized, so please begin working on this music ASAP if you have not already! ALL BRASS AND WOODWINDS WILL BE EVALUATED ON MEASURE 33-52 (LETTER C-D) OF PART 1 ON FRIDAY, JULY 28.

WOODWINDS AND MARIMBA 1 AND 2: There is an edit for the music between Letter L and Letter M of the music. Please ignore what is written in the original part and learn the music in the “Woodwind/Marimba Edit” folder.

The M100 calendar has been updated with all of the rehearsals for the upcoming school year. You can access the calendar on Here are a few things to keep in mind regarding these rehearsals.

  • Any anticipated conflicts need to be communicated to a director ASAP! If you know of any conflicts, please email

  • There are various construction projects occurring between the band hall and our practice field. More effort will be needed to arrive at the practice field on time for rehearsals.

  • Throughout the season, we will be hosting guest clinicians to assist in elevating the quality of our program. These individuals have experienced a great deal of success in the marching activity. In order to make the most of these opportunities, we MUST have quality attendance at these rehearsals. Please avoid conflicts with the following dates.

    • Monday, August 21, 5:00pm-7:30pm with Bob Chreste (Bluecoats, Cedar Park HS)

    • Monday, September 18, 5:00pm-8:00pm with Brittany Dacy (Westwood HS)

    • Thursday, October 5, 5:00pm-7:30pm with Bob Chreste

    • Wednesday, October 18, 5:00pm-7:00pm with Manny Maldonado (Cedar Park HS, CTJ HS, Belton HS Program Coordinator)

All wind and percussion students will need to have a “Foundations for Super Performance” book, also known as the “blue book” for their respective instrument next school year. We will use this book for our fundamentals in addition to our “Belton High School Fundamentals” packet.

Students in Jazz Band - Make sure you are practicing your jazz All-Region audition music! The auditions will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Temple HS. Click HERE to access the google folder with the music and improv tracks.

M100 Parents, if you would like to create “shout-outs” for the 2023 football season programs, click HERE to access a google folder with the order form with examples. The deadline for payments is this upcoming Friday, July 21.
