Hope everyone is having a great weekend! This is the last update of the school year. Please sign up for the new 2021-2022 Remind (details later in this update) so you can receive communication over the summer about the Parade and anything else you might need to know.
If you missed the parent meeting on Friday, please see our band website homepage to view the presentation. Beltonmarching100.com. One note - the school owned instrument rental fee SHOULD NOT be paid for the summer. We won’t assess that fee until the Fall. (Aug. 20th due date) Also - this was not included in the slides but needs to be communicated regarding the band fees:
To help ease the burden of payment, below are several options to pay your student’s fees for the year:
Payment in Full on July 2nd 2021
Half-balance on July 2nd with remainder due on July 31st (“Everything Day”)
$100 toward balance on July 2nd with remainder due on July 31st (“Everything Day”)
Monthly payment plan starting in July and ending in November (as needed)
Payment can be made electronically through the link below or can be made in person by check or cash on July 2nd. July 2nd is the rehearsal for the Belton 4th of July Parade. The Boosters will be available to take your payment in the Band Hall or PAC. INFORMATION FROM UIL REGARDING PHYSICALS FOR THOSE IN BAND FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR.

2021-2022 Report Forms & Pre-Participation Physicals
(1) Pre-participation Physical Examination. Upon entering the first and third years of high school, a physical examination signed by a physician, a physician assistant licensed by a State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners, a registered nurse recognized as an advanced practice nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners or a Doctor of Chiropractic is required. Standardized Pre-Participation Physical Examination Forms, available from the UIL office and authorized by the UIL Medical Advisory Committee, are required.
For the 2021-22 school year: Any participant in athletics or marching band, who was in their first or third year of high school during the 2020-21 school year and did not complete a Pre-Participation Physical Examination (PPE) for the 2020-21 school year, will be required to complete the Medical History Form as noted below, as well as a PPE prior to participation in any UIL practices, games, performances, or matches for the 2021-22 school year.
(5) Medical History Form. Each year prior to any practice or participation a UIL medical history form signed by both student and a parent or guardian is required. A medical history form shall accompany each physical examination and shall be signed by both student and a parent or guardian. EVERYONE NEEDS TO TURN IN THIS FORM, WHETHER THEY ARE REQUIRED TO GET A PHYSICAL OR NOT.
