Dear M100 Family,
The last week of school is upon us! This school year has consisted of a lot of growth and many successes and I am looking forward to next year! Seniors, we will miss you, but I am excited to see what each of your futures hold for you! One week left! Here is your weekend update!
NEW INFORMATION AND UPDATES 5/25 BHS GRADUATION - All members of the M100 that are not graduating will perform at the BHS Graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 25th at 1:00pm. We will have full ensemble rehearsals on the following dates before school through Wind Ensemble class on the following dates. Students will be excused from 1st period classes on these days.
Tuesday, May 23rd from 8:50am to 9:40am - (This is a change to account for the late arrival time on the previous night for Spring Trip students.)
Wednesday, May 24th from 8:15am to 9:40am
THURSDAY, MAY 25 GRADUATION ITINERARY
10:45am - Call Time at the Band Hall
11:00am - Depart for Expo Center
11:15am - Arrive at Expo Center/Unload Equipment
11:45am - Music Run-Through
1:00pm - CEREMONY BEGINS
3:00pm - Approximate End Time
3:30pm - Approx. Depart from Expo Center
3:45pm - Approx. Arrival at Band Hall
(New Tech Students will be excused at 9:20am on each of these days)
2023 STATE SOLO/ENSEMBLE - Students participating in State Solo/Ensemble, click HERE for information regarding the contest and upcoming accompanist rehearsals. The event will take place on Monday, May 29th at Pflugerville HS (Woodwind/Brass) and Connally HS (Percussion).

FOURTH OF JULY PARADE - The Marching 100 will perform in the Belton 4th of July Parade! We will rehearse on Monday, July 3rd and perform on Tuesday, July 4th. Below are the schedules for the events. 2023 BAND SENIORS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO JOIN US FOR THE REHEARSAL AND PARADE!
MONDAY, JULY 3RD - PARADE REHEARSAL
Attire: Comfortable clothes for outdoor rehearsal, tennis shoes
What to Bring: Instrument, flip folder, large water bottle, sunscreen, hats/sweatbands/sunglasses
8:15am - Band Hall Opens
9:00am - Rehearsal Begins
10:00am - winds/percussion transition to practice field
10:15am - parade rehearsal
12:00pm - rehearsal ends
Students should be drinking lots of water before and after the practice, as well as before and after the parade. It is also important that students eat a balanced breakfast before reporting each day. If possible, students should spend some time outside in the days prior to the parade to help with heat acclimation.
TUESDAY, JULY 4TH - PARADE PERFORMANCE
Attire: Red M100 T-Shirt, solid black athletic shorts, tennis shoes
What to Bring: Instrument (no cases), flip folder, sunscreen, patriotic decorations for yourself or your instrument
8:15am - arrive at Pearl Street at UMHB
8:30am - warmup
9:00am - judging portion of parade begins
10:00am - parade begins
11:00am - approx. parade end time

July 24 - Leadership Work Day, 8:00am-5:00pm (REQUIRED EVENT FOR ALL STUDENT LEADERS)
July 25 - FIRST DAY OF SUMMER BAND!!!!
