Weekend Update 11-8-20

Dear M100 Family,

CONGRATULATIONS once again to the M100 for an outstanding performance last night at the UIL Region 8 Marching competition.  You earned the highest rating a band can get - Superior - 1,1,1 !!!  We advance on to Area which is on Dec. 5th.  We have about 3 weeks of rehearsals until then and lots to clean and more visual elements to add.  We are on a roll - let’s keep it up!  See link below for videos of the competition!  Please continue to engage in masking and distancing practices so that we can all stay healthy and continue to work with one another in person!

Si necesita hablar con alguien en español, envíeme un correo electrónico a jbiggs0106@yahoo.com.  (Jasmine Biggs)

NOV. 6TH GRADE CHECK

Students who fail one or more regular credit classes (doesn’t include most Advanced and all PAP and AP courses) once grades are final, will have to stop participating in band functions (games/contests) at 4:25pm on Nov. 13.  This means they cannot go to the game on Nov.20 OR to the UIL Area Contest on Dec. 5th.

All students may participate in Pep Rallies whether they are eligible or not.

All students are eligible to participate in the Nov. 27th game as it is during the holiday week of Thanksgiving and eligibility doesn’t count during that week.

Students who have an Incomplete in Skyward for the 9 weeks have one week to make up their work and get it turned in.

INDIVIDUAL BAND PICTURES

If your child came in for pictures, they are available!  $10 for the photo file. Please bring the order form and payment in an envelope with the child’s name and drop it in the band hall safe.
