Pass all your regular credit classes on this date to be eligible for Area Contest AND you will be eligible until January!!!!!!
If you fail a regular credit class on this date, it can make you ineligible for AREA!!!!!!!
Students who fail one or more regular credit classes (doesn’t include most Advanced and all PAP and AP courses) once grades are final, will have to stop participating in band functions (games/contests) at 4:25pm on Nov. 13. This means they cannot go to the game on Nov.20 OR to the UIL Area Contest on Dec. 5th (if we qualify).
All students may participate in Pep Rallies whether they are eligible or not.
All students are eligible to participate in the Nov. 27th game as it is during the holiday week of Thanksgiving and eligibility doesn’t count during that week.
Students who have an Incomplete in Skyward for the 9 weeks have one week to make up their work and get it turned in.
BOOSTERS - NEED YOUR HELP!
The Belton HS Band Boosters need someone to be the Chairperson for Fundraising. Someone is needed to help make phone calls and schedule fundraising events. Please consider volunteering your time to help the M100. We can’t do this without you AND fundraising helps keep the costs down for individual families in regards to band fees.
FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE PARENT HELP IS ESPECIALLY NEEDED IN THE POPCORN BOOTH AT GAMES! (especially for the Nov. 6th game so Senior parents can escort their child during halftime recognitions). We also need to train folks for next year so please volunteer!
Email sharon.cobb@bisd.net to volunteer. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
INDIVIDUAL BAND PICTURES
If your child came in for pictures, they are available! $10 for the photo file. Please bring the order form and payment in an envelope with the child’s name and drop it in the band hall safe.
Checks can be made out to Belton Band Boosters.

SENIOR NIGHT ACTIVITIES AT THE 11/6 GAME-PARENTS
Parents/ family will come down from stands about halfway through the second quarter. Each Senior can have up to 5 family members escort them. Family members will come down to a large gate opening underneath the stands near the men’s restroom. There they will be greeted by a booster parent who will check them off the list and then they’ll be directed to the field. They’ll go behind the band (who is seated in the end zone, near the field house) and toward the visitor side bleachers. They’ll see more people there who will line them up in alpha order at cones for social distancing.
*Masks must be worn at all times by all people – even on the field – per the Dir. of Athletics.
Family members will walk with their child up until they run through the sign, then they’ll walk around the sign and meet them on the other side. They’ll stop on the 50 yd. line and take a picture then be directed to move to a specific area to stand with their child on the field while the other seniors are introduced.
Once over, family members will return to the stands and band members back to our set up in the end zone.
Don’t forget to stay for the performance after the game
All family members must buy a ticket for the game. Tickets stop selling online that night at 9:30pm (if anyone just wants to come for the after the game performance)
EATING BEFORE GAMES
Students - you MUST eat before football games.
IF you can’t get home and can’t get to any food, LET OUR BOOSTERS KNOW so we can order food for you and you can eat at BHS before the game. Mrs. Cobb will send another email before the next game to get orders. Please sign up.
You will see a charge in your Charms account miscellaneous ledger. YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY IN CHARMS! Bring cash or check to me (Mrs. Gill) and I’ll put it in the safe.
NO EATING IN UNIFORM DURING THE GAME. ONLY WATER ALLOWED. (if your child must eat during the game due to medical reasons, please let us know.)
