Dear M100 Family,
Congratulations on your success at the 2022 UIL Area D Marching Contest! The Marching 100 placed 6th in Prelims, earning us a spot in Finals where we placed 8th. This concludes our competitive marching season this year, and we will now transition into concert season while also continuing to perform at football games. Time to break out the jingle bells! Here is your weekend update!

NEW INFORMATION AND UPDATES
WIND ENSEMBLE 8:15AM - The Wind Ensemble will begin rehearsing each morning at 8:15am. Wind Ensemble students, please arrive at 8:00am so that you are fully prepared to begin right at 8:15am. Students that usually hang out or practice in the morning will need to report to their 1st period class.
AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSALS - Now that our competitive marching season has concluded, we will be rehearsing on THURSDAYS each week from now until football season ends. Our football team has already clinched a spot in playoffs, so we will have a rehearsal after school on Thursday, November 10. Details on playoff games will be released at the conclusion of the regular season on Friday, November 4.
10/27 REHEARSAL - Our only rehearsal this week will be on Thursday, October 27 from 5pm-6:30pm. This will serve as a rehearsal for our final run at the following football game on the 28th as well as a rehearsal for seniors and parents to walk through the Senior Sign. Senior parents can report to rehearsal at 6:00pm to practice the sign walk-through.

The Band Beau/Sweetheart announcement will be before the game.
The M100 and Magic Belles Senior Night Presentation will be during halftime.
We will perform "The Heat of Winter" one final time after the end of the game.
BANDSGIVING IS BACK! - The Belton Band Boosters are excited to celebrate an awesome marching season and recognize all the hard work that made this year such a success! Our annual “thankfulness” celebration is back, and we are looking forward to great food & fellowship on Saturday, October 29th at 5pm with all of the members of the M100 and their families. Please sign up to bring your favorite “Bandsgiving” dish here; make sure your dish feeds at least 12 people (because #sharingiscaring). We’ll gather in the BHS Commons to enjoy our meal and hear from your M100 leaders. Reach out to Cassie Fothergill, Liz Adams, or Colleen Stearns with any questions.
PREVIOUS INFORMATION AND UPDATES
M100 SPRING TRIP TO DALLAS, TX - The M100 has been officially been approved to travel to Dallas, TX for a band trip from May 20-22, 2023. Click HERE to access the information regarding details and instructions to register for the trip. Please register for the trip ASAP! This will allow us to plan logistics easier the earlier we know who all is attending the event. Important things to note:
All students must register for the "4 people - 2 beds" option. This generates the cheapest price for the trip.
The current price of the trip is $715 for the "4 people - 2 beds" option. THIS PRICE WILL BE REDUCED. We will keep you updated on the exact reduction once we receive more information. Do not complete payment for this trip until we provide the final price.
