NEW UPDATES TO ELIGIBILITY

The most recent eligibility check was on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14 AT 4:25PM. YOU CAN STILL LOSE YOUR ELIGIBILITY EVEN IF YOU PASSED THE FIRST ELIGIBILITY CHECK. ANY STUDENT WITH A GRADE BELOW A 70 IN AN ON-LEVEL CLASS WILL BECOME INELIGIBLE THE FOLLOWING WEEK. NO FOOTBALL GAMES, NO MARCHING CONTESTS.

  1. INELIGIBLE STUDENTS WILL NOT NEED TO ATTEND THIS WEEK OF REHEARSALS. THIS WILL ALLOW ELIGIBLE STUDENTS TO EVALUATE THE MARCHING DRILL WITH ALL OF THE ACCURATE PERFORMERS.

  2. Students that had failing grades in an on-level class on Friday, October 13, will become ineligible beginning on Friday, October 20 at 4:25pm. These students will not be allowed to attend the following events:

10/27 FB @ Chaparral

10/28 UIL Area D Marching Contest

11/4 FB vs. University (Senior Night)

  1. Students that were ineligible at the last eligibility check will regain eligibility if all on-level grades were a 70 or above on the date of the next eligibility check, which is Friday, October 13. Eligibility will be reinstated on Friday, October 20th at 4:25pm.

  2. All students that are CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE WILL REMAIN ELIGIBLE FOR THE REST OF THE SEMESTER.

  3. The next eligibility check will be Friday, November 3rd at 4:25pm. Students that were ineligible at this time can regain their eligible status for the remainder of the semester on Friday, November 10 at 4:25pm.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE UPDATE

Due to various conflicts with Thursday, October 26, including New Tech Homecoming and the BHS Orchestra concert, we will adjust the rehearsal schedule to make the Tuesday rehearsal longer and the Thursday rehearsal shorter by 30 minutes. The rehearsal schedule will go as follows:

Tuesday, October 24 - M100 Rehearsal, 5:00pm-8:00pm (THIS IS A CHANGE)

Wednesday, October 25 - M100 Rehearsal, 5:00pm-8:00pm

Thursday, October 26 - M100 Rehearsal, 5:00pm-7:00pm (THIS IS A CHANGE)

10/25 STADIUM/UNIFORM REHEARSAL

Our custom tops have arrived, and we will be rehearsing with them in the stadium on Wednesday. Please wear light clothing so that you may wear your bibbers and custom top for Wednesday’s rehearsal. You do not have to wear the unders since you will be asked to wear them twice later in the week, but please be smart about your attire going into Wednesday.

10/27 AWAY FOOTBALL GAME @ CHAPARRAL HS

Our next football game of the season will be an away football game against Chaparral HS in Killeen. You can view the itinerary for the game by clicking HERE, or by checking the “Itineraries” tab on the front page of the band website!

I have also included a link to the itinerary where family and friends can purchase tickets for the game!

PLEASE EMAIL boostercalendar@gmail.com IF YOU HAVE ANY UNIFORM ISSUES!

10/28 UIL AREA D 5A MARCHING CONTEST

The M100 will be performing at the Area D 5A Marching Contest this Saturday, October 28. Our performance will be at 11:00am, meaning our rehearsal call time will be 6:15am in the stadium. You can view the full itinerary for the contest by clicking HERE.

TENTATIVE M100 REHEARSALS

If the M100 advances to the State Marching Contest, we will have after school rehearsals on Tuesday, October 31 (yes, on a day we do not have school), Wednesday, November 1 and Thursday, November 2. Exact times will be determined once we receive our results.

SENIOR SIGNS

Seniors, it’s that time of year! Please start thinking about what will go on your senior sign for the game on Friday, November 3. Please click HERE to view the information regarding the senior sign preparation.

VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED

Parents and guardians, please click on the following links to access the sign-ups for volunteering throughout the season! The M100 would not be the organization that it is without the support of the parents and boosters, and volunteering your time is one of the best ways to keep the M100 going strong!

AS THE WIND IS STARTING TO PICK UP, WE WILL NEED AS MANY VOLUNTEERS AS POSSIBLE TO HELP KEEP OUR PROPS IN PLACE FOR THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!!!

PREVIOUS INFORMATION AND UPDATES

SNACK DROP OFF

If you would like to drop off snacks and drinks for our upcoming games and contests, you can do so on Tuesdays after our band rehearsals. Drop off location will be at the band hall. This week we are on the lookout for sweet snacks! (Gatorade Zero/Powerade Zero, Skittles, cookies, fruit snacks and non-melting sweets!) Thank you so much for your support of the M100!

M100 AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

The M100 calendar has been updated with all of the rehearsals for the upcoming school year. You can access the calendar on beltonmarching100.com/calendar. Here are a few things to keep in mind regarding these rehearsals.

  • Any anticipated conflicts need to be communicated to a director ASAP! If you know of any conflicts, please email kevin.kwaku@bisd.net.

  • There are various construction projects occurring between the band hall and our practice field. More effort will be needed to arrive at the practice field on time for rehearsals.

  • Throughout the season, we will be hosting guest clinicians to assist in elevating the quality of our program. These individuals have experienced a great deal of success in the marching activity. In order to make the most of these opportunities, we MUST have quality attendance at these rehearsals. Please avoid conflicts with the following dates.

  • Wednesday, October 18, 5:00pm-7:00pm with Manny Maldonado (Cedar Park HS, CTJ HS, Belton HS Program Coordinator)
