Congratulations on your Division 1 Rating at the Region 8 UIL Marching Contest on Saturday! This means our final contest of this season will b the Area D Marching Contest in Pflugerville on Saturday, October 22nd. Look below for details regarding this week's rehearsals and the plan for Saturday. Here is your weekend update!

NEW INFORMATION AND UPDATES
1ST 9 WEEKS ELIGIBILITY - The new eligibility check will be in effect on Friday, October 21st at 4:25pm. Students were previously ineligible will regain their eligibility at this time and WILL be permitted to attend the Area contest. Students who lose their eligibility WILL NOT be in attendance for the Area contest or the following football games for the remainder of the season.
AREA D MARCHING CONTEST - The schedule for the upcoming Area contest has not been finalized yet. However, we drew for a potential performance slot at our UIL contest and drew 4th, meaning we will have an early performance time. Please be prepared for an EARLY call time this Saturday sometime between 5:00am and 6:30am. I will provide further updates once the schedule is finalized.
M100 SPIRIT NIGHT AT FREDDY'S - Support the M100 by getting dinner from Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers (7036 W Adams Ave, Temple, TX 76502) on Wednesday, October 26th from 5:00pm-9:00pm! Tell your friends to go and have them mention that they are supporting the M100! Students are encouraged to eat at Freddy's after rehearsal!
10/27 REHEARSAL - We have added an additional rehearsal on Thursday, October 27 from 5pm-6:30pm. This will serve as a rehearsal for our final run at the following football game on the 28th as well as a rehearsal for seniors and parents to walk through the Senior Sign. Senior parents can report to rehearsal at 6:00pm to practice the sign walk-through.
10/28 POST-GAME PERFORMANCE - We will perform "The Heat of Winter" one final time on senior night after the game.
10/29 BANDSGIVING - Please join in the commons from 4pm-7pm on Saturday, October 29th to eat a family style thanksgiving dinner and celebrate the end of the season. Traditionally, we have assigned different food categories to each section(for example: rolls and bread -tubas). Once the plan is arranged, there will be a follow up email regarding this. UPDATE: We have been asked to park in the student parking lot in the back due to the PTSO's Trunk-or-Treat event in the front parking lot. Please be prepared to drive around the back of the school to access the student parking for Bandsgiving.
M100 SPRING TRIP TO DALLAS, TX - The M100 has been officially been approved to travel to Dallas, TX for a band trip from May 20-22, 2023. Click HERE to access the information regarding details and instructions to register for the trip. Please register for the trip ASAP! This will allow us to plan logistics easier the earlier we know who all is attending the event. Important things to note:
All students must register for the "4 people - 2 beds" option. This generates the cheapest price for the trip.
The current price of the trip is $715 for the "4 people - 2 beds" option. THIS PRICE WILL BE REDUCED. We will keep you updated on the exact reduction once we receive more information. Do not complete payment for this trip until we provide the final price.
