2/2/2025 M100 Weekend Update

Dear M100 Family,

We had a lot going on this weekend! The guard attended their first TCGC contest of the season, and the performances of the musical production, “Chicago”, occurred, all with great success! Congratulations to all students who competed and performed this weekend!

We have Solo and Ensemble coming up, so let’s have a great week as we make our final preparations for the performance!

WINTER GUARD CONTEST AT AKINS HS

Congratulations to the Winter Guard team for placing 1st in their division at their first TCGC contest of the season! Way to start the season strong! Their next contest will be on Saturday, February 15 at Hays HS. Let’s cheer on our guard as they continue to push and grow through the season!

SOLO AND ENSEMBLE PREPARATION AND ACCOMPANIST FEES DUE

If you have not turned in your $50 solo accompanist fee, please do so ASAP!

2/8 SOLO AND ENSEMBLE SCHEDULE

Please click HERE to view the schedule for the solo and ensemble contest at Temple HS on Saturday, February 8. If there are any concerns with your performance time, please contact Mr. Vaadi at matthew.vaadi@bisd.net.

Students should plan to arrive 1 HOUR BEFORE YOUR PERFORMANCE TIME. This will give you the opportunity to have a quality warm-up without feeling rushed. You should also plan to dress professionally. We will speak more in depth about preparation for this event during classes this week.
